Nope, was a bit rich, but adjusted up the HVIX and seems to be running perfect. No leaks either. The cooling fan even works.
I actually have a vid of it running, but it's 25.4 Mb and not worth posting/watching really. It is just sitting there idling.
Pretty good for a bike that sat four years. I'm still amazed I have found most of the parts. I believe this basket case has been moved 4 times.
Time to get it titled, sold, and out of my freaking way!

I didn't realize you still had that bike! Good old 929s! I'm busy putting mine back in street trim. Hope I remember what plugs in where!

Heh. Mine was not energizing the fuel pump or starter when I first turned it on.
Turned out to be the engine start/switch assembly, which I'd bought used a while back, was a bit messed up inside. Took about an hour to find the problem. But as soon as that was sorted, I cranked it for a LONG time to get some oil up on the top end, topped up the coolant, and plugged in the tank.
Vroom.
It's the first new vehicle I ever bought, and I bought it right after I graduated. I also did my first race on that bike. I have to admit, I kinda don't want to sell it.

So keep it and use it on the street! It's paid for! Get some Ventura luggage and use it as a sport tourer!

It's already hacked up a bit. Turn it into a streetfighter and keep the history runnin'
Never been into the streetfighter thing.
It's a beater looks-wise. But it runs good, and comes with tons of spares.
I have other projects I need to focus on, and I need the space. It's gonna go, but I'll definitely miss her.

Sold off all the most of the real blingy bits. Still have the QB Carbon airbox and fairings...they didn't sell at my auction price, so I guess I'll have to split the kit up and sell it.
It still has Mori cams, Ti retainers, APE tensioner and cam sprockets, TBR slip on, 520 conversion, stainless lines, also a parts engine/frame with pink slip, another spare head...but I really dunno what it's worth man.
After I get it all papered properly and ride it a few times to make sure it's mechanically good, I'll figure out a fair price.
