2 Months and it was time for an upgrade....

As you may know, a little over 2 months ago I bought this:

Well Thursday my wife went and picked this up for me:

Jumped ship. Man what a difference the gixxer is (Its still a 600 btw). I am completely in love with this bike. It is just amazing, it simply just leaves a permanent smile on my face. In 3 days I put 400+ miles on it. I'm kept the 650r because it will now be for daily duty only. Can't beat the maintenance and the gas mileage.

Rode one of those at Schwantz. I could actually touch and loved the gear indicator (wish I could add one to the RC easy) Felt a bit like a toy after the RC. It really loves to be wound up but lacks oomph down low. Oh and nice slipper in it (though after the engine braking of an RC )

    Congrats.

Yeah, that's what I like about it, its really tame down low, pretty wicked up top. Yeah, the 650r's best feature was its engine breaking... the gixxer is pretty much non-existant.

Two great bikes - you're a lucky man.

How do I get my wife to buy me a GSXR?

Buy her a house, give her 3 kids, give her a Mustang GT ('06 red with 18's). And try to clean the house...... and keep your cloths picked up (I try), etc... etc......

She wants to ride with me but when next spring rolls around she'll be driving the Ninja if she wants.
