one less bill per month and another thing to worry about
last month I sent a payment of a couple grand towards my bike. I figured I would have somewhere between $1500-2000 left depending on interest. got a letter today saying I owe well under $200. just wrote the check out. all paid off now, 22 months early.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.
oh don't worry I have a little list in my head still. suspension and wheels would be tops. and if I could find some stroker connecting rods I'd add that to the list.

Sorry to hear.

thanks. everything looks pretty good so far. they actually found it in Feb. when he went to his cardiologist and said he was having trouble swallowing his food. that doctor is friends with and used to practice with the head of thoracic (I think thats what department it is) at Beth Israel in Boston so he got fast tracked in there for testing. they found a tumor in his esophagus but think it hasn't spread anywhere. he's doing 28 days of chemo and 4 infusions to shrink it then they'll operate.

right now the problem is trying to not make him laugh. when he was in the hospital last week having the infuser thingy and feeding tube "installed" I didn't even have to say anything. He just looked at me and said "why aren't you at work?" and started to laugh which hurt him. I didn't even do anything that time.
I gotta go take him to the store to get flowers for mom now. thanks for the well wishes.

Be sure to use the generousity he and your mom are providing to save and get yourself started so you can be someone they are proud of.
Be sure to take the time NOW to share with your folks as nothing is forever but some things are priceless.
And respect my authouri-tie!
yup gonna start saving a bunch of money now that the bike is paid off.
today I was gonna go for a ride but my dad asked me to take him to get flowers for mom. not a problem. also been doing stuff around the house that he's been doing since he retired almost 2 years ago. he just doesn't have the energy to do much right now because he hasn't been able to eat much and still getting used to the feeding tube thing.
what about a neck-tie?

Re: one less bill per month and another thing to worry about
I've been down this road before, take it all seriously but at the same time don't let the tension bring you down cause that's the last thing anyone wants to do is worry about cheering you up when they are in this state.
Save $$ cause you never know whats around the next bend. You've been given a period to save some coinage, so please do - take it from someone that never did
Most of all, hope to hear positive reports about your Dad, good luck
