Bent front rotor
I have a bent front rotor on the bike and I will try to fix it myself. I already improved it by 50% by finding the bend and "gently" banged on it with the handle of a rubber.
I'm interested to know if anyone ever fixed such a problem and how.
I have dial indicator a that I plan to fix on the fork and a piece of plastic that I will cut a groove in and use it to pry the rotor with

I would recommend Will's Rim Repair if possible. Top notch work and a great price. If you don't have a spare for Grattan maybe someone does (if they are the same I can pull one off my stock RC rims that have 'r' tires on them)

Thanks but I do have a spare set of rims. Still want to fix that one and Grattan is the perfect place to see if it worked.

I had 0.012" deflection on the bent rotor and was able to bring that down to 0.004"
We'll see coming in T1 if that's enough.

Did you bend it from a floor hoop in your trailer? I have seen this many times (I think Sheeply saw it just once).

Now in stereo
Visionaries say "Yes, we can."
Engineers say "Not so fast."
and Seamus is awesome

That's why I use my sidestand...keeps the bikes out from under foot...
"Ten times more charming than that Arnold on Green Acres..."

You're gonna love my nuts!
I'm sure there will be a belt sander at Grattan to even it out.
I have CDO. It's like OCD except the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.

I do not want to put the blame on V, but I will
I asked her to put the spare set of wheel away on week-end. She did, and now I have a bent rotor. She's smart. I'm not going to ask her anything bike related from now on, so I guess she did it on purpose.
I'm really tired, so no sex tonight is fine.

Funny you mention that. When I first met Kevin Graham, he was running a Honda F2 with the windscreen nearly opaque from some chemical streaking. When I asked what happened, he quietly said "Tish was cleaning the bike and the next thing I knew she had a can of contact cleaner and was washing the windscreen" . . .
Sometimes things just don't work out the way they should . . .

I need a drink
There is a guy out here in Phoenix who can fix anything like that with ease. He straightened rotors, as well as a triple clamp for me. I have seen him fix bent frames, and frames with actual holes in them. He is nothing short of amazing. His name is Dave and he can be reached at 480-649-1093
