We can build twins up to 1146cc; triples up to 1725cc; and fours up to 2200cc. Anyone fancy pepping up their Lotus Elise or Ariel Atom?

Funny, I didn't read all the comments and was going to quote that same sentence.

I think one of those engines in a Caterham 7 would be amazing.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

That's a pretty weak specific output (4 expansion chambers would go a long way, or a blower), sounds good though!

I thought the same. A TZ250 is 80-100 HP...4 CR500's should be putting out 220hp or so stock. Needless to say...I love the smell of castor bean oil in the morning

That looks like a fun deal to work on, and I'd be proud if I got a V4 running too.

    BUT:

The first S2000 engine was 250Hp out of 2.0l.

The Hayabusa V8 guys are getting over 375Hp from 2.6l:

Powertec is getting 455Hp out of 2.8l:

The state of the art for the Honda V4 screamer configuration was 205 HP from 500ccs. That is 400+ HP per liter, so these guys have a ways to go before they start approaching the 820 HP they should be getting . . .

    Engineers say "Not so fast."

    and Seamus is awesome
