I'm actually kinda impressed by that list.

You can link two of the roads listed in NorCal, the 32 to Highway 70 in one loop. Brilliant, just brilliant ride.

Far more enjoyable than most of the other more "famous" routes in Cali I've sampled.

agreed, it's a good list and seems to be fairly complete. Push Mountain is even in there

    They're lacking a few in Montana ...

Gallatin Canyon (Bozeman to Big Sky)
and Norris Canyon (Bozeman to Norris Hot Springs)
There's also another shorter trip along the Jefferson River, by the Lewis and Clark Caverns.

Missing a few in Indiana also. But who wants that publicized.

Very nice find, and thanks for making this a sticky. I've actually done the Beaufort run in SC, and it was as nice as the site described. Makes me homesick...

I've also done the Hwy 60 in MN, and it was repaved a few years ago making it one of the better runs. Lots of elevation changes and turns from tight to sweepers surrounded by hardwood forest. The comment about watching out for deer is VALID...but if anyone gets here to try that route...also watch for LEOs. DAMHIK.

That's all I have to say about that.

I've done the one along the Mississippi that they list for Iowa. Lame.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Highway 19 in Missouri is not to be missed.

The section from Herman to the I-44/HWY 19 intersection at Cuba, MO, is relaxed 2-lane riding. It runs through Missouri wine country with rolling hills and sweeping, gentle turns.

The fun begins at I-44 and south as the road begins to get serious in the Ozarks. I have even taken I-44 to St. James, MO, and then caught HWY 68 south to where it meets HWY 19; continuing on HWY 19 south all the way to the Arkansas border near the town of Thayer.

The 57 mile section of HWY 19 from Salem to Emminence is a glorious section of twisty road through the Ozarks. You can stop and stretch your legs along the Current River and at Big Springs. The Ozark region is noted for it's crystal clear spring water rivers featuring abundant trout fishing! Emminence used to feature an annual Bluegrass festival every summer, but I don't know if it still does.

Continuing south from Emminence you go to the town of Wynona and, after that, Alton, MO......my grandparents were born and raised in the area, hence my many miles of travel on that road between Alton and St. Louis.

19 continues on into Arkansas. It's a great road to ride. Do a day trip to Alton or Thayer and then return the next day. It's worth trailering a bike to if you live far away and want a nice little motorcycling weekend get-a-way.
