And then there's the ones that think MV Agustas are supposed to cost that much.

CL would suck...except that you get what you pay for.

Even worse than the people that ask those outrageous prices are the people who have a quick scan over the online listings to determine a "fair" trade-in value for their car.

How I wish I had $2600 for that VFR!!!

As for the 929, I see inflated prices like that on craigslist in MKE and Chicago sometimes. I have no idea where they come up with those prices, but at least with this 929 you get scratches from a previous laydown!

I knew the 929 was special. *sigh*

Looks like there's some custom scratches on the left side of the tail, too. Speaking of the tail, is it just my imagination or does the subframe look ever so slightly tweaked?

    Well the VFR is sold..

Yea, the subframe looked tweak to me. "Leftside crankcase cover is scratched from previous owner laying down at low speed."

Need (want!) a GPS unit, but don't want to pay the big price? The following were all purchased at various auctions, have been tested and work as designed!
Garmin eTrex Personal Navigator - Hand-held. Unit & manual. $75
Garmin Streetpilot c330 - Vehicle. Color display. Unit only. $150
Garmin Nuvi 660 - Vehicle. Like New In Box! Even has the protective film on the screen! Works fine! $275
Lowrance iFinder H20 - Hand-held and waterproof! Unit only. $135
    Magellan GPS 300 - Hand-held. Boxed, unit & manual. $50
Magellan GPS 320 - Hand-held. Unit with VHS tape for the 310. $50
    Magellan GPS 2000 - Hand-held. Unit & manual. $50
Magellan Meridian XL - Hand-held. Boxed, with carry case & manual. $50
Magellan Roadmate 300 - Vehicle. Boxed unit & manual. $200
Magellan Roadmate 760 - Vehicle. Like New In Box! $200
Trimble SCOUTMASTER - Hand-held. Boxed, carry case, manual & some nav. extras! An oldie but goodie! This is for the hard-core navigator! $75
Cobra 1080 DLX - Vehicle. Like New In Box! $125 As stated, all units were purchased at various auctions, all are working and all are guaranteed by me for 15 days. Some are older, some newer. A few are almost new and complete, a few have only the 12v auto cord - you'll need to make your own mount (sticky velcro will work just fine).
I also have the following RADAR DETECTORS for sale:
    • Cobra XRS 757 - 12-Band Radar Detector - $75
    • Cobra XRS 969 - 12-Band Radar Detector - $100
Both packages have been opened and are untested, but I will refund any non-working unit. Try one out on the drive home for Thanksgiving! Prices are firm. These are great deals, so contact me quickly to get the one you want!

No e-mails from Yahoo, Gmail, etc. Too many scammers use these, so if you're interested, send me your LOCAL phone number or e-mail from an ISP (ATT, AOL, Earthlink, etc.). The scum make it hard on everyone!

I am selling the PT cruiser on Craigs list and one dumb ass from Pittsburgh Pa. is wanting it.

This is one of his emails to me. Before this one, he asked if I would meet him 1/2 way. lol

ok, I look forward to your pictures. I was really kooking for a 5 speed but will settle for auto. I was told the automatics are slow? How do you feel. If we can agree I'll either get a ride or take a bus.
    This was my response.
Bob, I am confused you about wanting a 5 speed vs. an automatic. You do realize this is a 4 cylinder vehicle right? They are all slow, no matter what transmission they have in them. It will be fine for a family car or dependable transportation, but a race car it is not. It does fine in city traffic and even on the open road, but the 0 to 60 times will be,,,,, well lets say extended.

Sounds like another goofball candidate for adding flames to the already gay ride. Tell him owning a PT does not automatically make you a bad ass. Those things take time. Apparently "squids" are not limited to bikes.

Thing of it is, he is still wanting to take a bus out and look at it.

Yeah, he's nuts. Pittsburgh is quite a trip. There can't be that much of a shortage on those things on the east coast. You giving him that much of a deal or something? I mean being it's your wifes I'm sure its clean and all but seems odd.

This guy has been trying to sell this helmet for a LONG time now. He was originally asking around $300 I think.

***MUST SELL**PRICE REDUCED*** HJC AC 11 Medium Rocket Helmet $175

I bought an AC-11 almost 4 years ago, and I'm not sure but I think it was replaced by the AC-12. Regardless, it's not a current model on HJC's website.

My favorite part is when he says that a website sells it for $500, and when you click the link you find that the website is in Australia!

I'm thinking probably a rig pig that made 150 grand last year but hasn't worked in 4 months and can't make the payments for all the shit he bought. Just a guess. Doesn't explain how he expects to make a profit on a used truck though...
