    Tire Balancing

    Tire Balancing Products

This is interesting. Anyone tried anything like this?
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

I've never tried those balancing beads, and personally I'd rather not just dump loose weight in my tire and hope for the best. I use one of these:

    Handy Industries Online Store

    Edit: Nomar has them too...

That's probably the way I would go if I was in the market. I'd never heard of the beads until today. I was just wondering about them.

This is what I use to very good results (http://www.marcparnes.com/). Just suspend it between 2 jack stands or blocks. I like that it packs small and is portable ... not to mention working fine on my VFR's SSS.

I personally would never put loose balls (or goo, I think I've seen that advertised before too) in my wheels and hope for the best. You are gauranteed to be out of balance when you start and I would guess each time you hit a bump ... that of course is assuming that they actually work and not just go to the more out of round section and make the condition worse.

I picture a washing machine with all the towels wadded into one place.
