Coolant Flush: When is it enough?
I drained all of my coolant. Poured water in the radiator until it was draining completely clear. At this point I knew that there would still be coolant in the other lines of the system so I put the plug back in, completely refilled the system, started it and let it warm up. Then drained it all again, it still seemed pretty "green" so I completely refilled again, recirculated and drained for a third time. It was more clear but still had a green tint to it. At this point I'm starting to feel guilty for the amount of waste hazardous waste that I'm creating, 3 gallons now. Am I good to just fill it and add my water wetter? Or does it need to look drinking water clear when I drain it after letting it circulate?

You gotta flush it. Hold the garden hose to the rad filler and blast water through there so it sprays right out the drain hole.
Then pour a gallon of distilled through it to wash out the hose water... then fill it up.

I should note that my bike was on stands with the wheels off on Sunday, so I couldn't wheel it outside when I did this.... made an awesome mess in the garage.

I was afraid that was the answer. My apartment garage lifestyle prevents the hose method I also can't bring myself to pollute the bike with common water so I'll just keep pouring distilled in until it's perfect, besides I need all the gallon jugs to hold all the waste I'm creating.

Do too.
I have a 5gal plastic diesel can I use to help. Catch it in a gallon jug, dump in in the big can.
Don't have use for diesel and wanted a different color so I don't accidentally grab it and fill it full of gas.

March nor'easters bring April...flooding...
I just do the method you're describing. I flush a couple of times (distilled water), then fill and run it up to 180 F to open the thermostat, let it cool, drain, fill and check again. Usually one more run to 180 is good, I've gotten mine to come out clear that way. I can't bring myself to use the garden hose method, as I'm on well water and it's got a lot of minerals in it.
After you've filled for the final time with water + watter wetter mixture, don't forget to "burp" the system by blipping the throttle with the radiator cap off. Put the cap on and run it up to temp again, let it sit overnight, and check the level, topping up if needed.

Not sure if the F4 has it or not, but my 600RR had a bolt between the two inside headers that was a drain plug for the cylinder head. It was a pain to get to but it lessened the number of times I had to flush the system.

It does and also has one by the water pump.
After i flush the system i run Distilled water and Viniger in the bike then flush it again. Then add water wetter. This should clean out and built up deposits.

Yeah, I found and was using both drains, and am fairly well up to speed on the refill and purge process. Just wasn't sure when I could stop pouring more water through it. I'm going to get more distilled water tomorrow and really flush it good.
