I saw that on the news last night. I'm surprised that he thought he could elude the po-po by ditching his gear. WTF?! Another product of Super Bikes!, no doubt.

I was amused by the fact that he dumped it off in West Covina. I went to elementary school in that (then) little town.

I hope he gets the same treatment Bond did in Casino Royale (chair with the hole in the seat).

Check out his "gear". I bet the jeans and sneaks would have held up well sliding down the highway

You always see the videos posted of the chases that end in capture. I wonder how many actually get away?

EL MONTE, Calif. - A motorcyclist who led El Monte police on a chase Friday on streets and freeways was arrested when he ran into a shopping mall in West Covina, police said. Daniel Joseph Vasquez, 33, of El Monte, was taken into custody by El Monte and West Covina police about 11:30 a.m. at the Westfield Shoppingtown mall, a West Covina police officer said.
Vasquez exited the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Vincent Avenue, then drove a short distance to a store entrance to the mall, where he parked and ran into a Macy's store before being arrested a short time later, the officer said.
Vasquez was booked on suspicion of felony evading and reckless driving and was held on a bond of at least $75,000, said Lt. Bill Fetner of the El Monte Police Department.

Often, "runners" will try to report it stolen after ditching...This lame just didn't make it.

He wore a white hat and white shirt?? Can you stand out anymore?

I would have at least tried to shoplift a change of clothing....

Jack Bower could have evaded the police.

A lot. How many die: to many. How many are severly injured: to many. How many hurt someone else: WAY to many. Running from a speeding ticket is totally stupid to anyone that balancese risk vs reward.
