wicked dood. I'm looking for a dog myself. Torn between a Chinese mutt (I don't know the actual English name, but it's common in Hong Kong), and a Doberman Pinscher

No. Unfortunately, these are the dogs that people eat in China. Okay, get on with the jokes. It really is a cultural difference. Afterall, I'm sure many people think that eating cows is appalling. Anyway, not meant to threadjack you. I love your dog as a pet, and it was on the top of my list of pets. I could only find one picture of the dogs I mentioned (I have pix of my aunt's dog, will upload later). They are bloody cute and I couldn't imagine eating it.... http://www.taipeitimes.com/images/20...707193924.jpeg

Looks just like the "eatin' dogs" in Korea except they had white fur there. Kaegogi, if I remember correctly. Greasy and not really too tasty.
I know, but if you don't try it, you can't knock it.
Cute pup, my GF is most definitely NOT allowed to see this thread.

That seems to be the problem with a lot of people. Everyone loves puppies, but not everyone loves a dog
I agree. I like dogs, as long as they are mild mannered but I still don't think I'd ever have one. cleaning the fish tank every so often is kind of more responsibility than I want.
