Dario and Juan Pablo on the same team?

They better get two mirrors in that bathroom..

I don't hear about Montoya or Speed or Pruett or Villeneuve --- any of the old CART or F1 guys tearing the ass out of the series. it must be a really different animal.

They have the skills, they just need the experience and the equipment.

You didn't hear all the uproar when Montoya won a race a few months back?
It was very humorous reading all the pissed comments about "NASCAR letting a Mexican win".

Re: Franchitti to NASCAR

Yeah, I heard he won on a road course, and was competitive the next time there were right turns, but got bumped and later wanted to start a fight.

One of the challenges of that series has to be the sheer number of cars on the track and the resultant aerodynamic unpredictability. Plus some guys would rather crash him out than be passed by a "Mexican."

Stewart was a very successful open-wheeler, and I'd say Montoya has done pretty well for a rookie.

I think the skills transfer pretty well.

The more appropriate title would be "Ashley Judd to NASCAR"

yeah, this is kind of how stewart came over to nascar. He didn't spend as much time in IRL as Franchitti has I don't think.

I think I'm going to have to take back some of the depracatory things I said about him. A very solid 1st race, especially given the venue.
