    picked up my Taco(ma) today

07 4x2 access cab automatic (I'm almost ashamed to say that but I drive a 10 speed at work so enough is enough with the shifting) in silver (I really wanted the dark blue but can't find that unless its a 4x4 with craploads of extras for like $30k). convience package #1, which is power windows/locks/mirrors, AC and cruise control.

sticker is over $20k, invoice is around $19,200, after much dealing and walking out of some dealers only to get call backs I picked it up for $18,475. so thanks to everyone that gave me advice before, I'd say it worked out pretty decently.

so Grattan transport is ready to go. mail the check monday.

here's a stock picture, my brother took his camera with him to work so I couldn't get an actual pic.

the salesman I eventually bought it from tried to show me an x-runner when I first when in. I was on my bike and he said "I have something I think you'll really like" I said "yeah its nice but I'm mostly gonna drive it in the winter and those tires (bridgestone potenzas) are horrible in the winter/snow.

It must be pretty tough moving parts on a bicycle. Did they at least give you one of them pretty pink baskets?

I hear if you tape baseball cards to the forks, it sounds like a motorcycle.

nah man I go with the crushed soda can under the fender, you go through tires quick but the dirt bike sound is worth it

Lotsa weight and some GOOD snows should fix that...

It sure was fun to drive though Should pull a good sized trailer and piss off some of the full size truck people.

yup sure is, 2.7L 159HP. it moves pretty good. I haven't got on it at all cause its only got 40 miles on it so far. and I never got on my father's either cause I don't beat on other peoples vehicles unless they tell me I can. suppose to get close to and over 20mpg so I'm happy about that cause my car was awful, probably around 10-12 and it leaked too so I couldn't even fill it up.

You should have no trouble getting 25+ MPG in that truck.

sweet. it'll be cool to go a few hundred miles between fill ups but its gonna cost a crapload to fill that tank. 20 or 21 gallons. it'll be worth it though cause it'll be pretty long between fill up cause I don't drive very far.

I quess it is a matter of perspective. My Excursion will make it over 400 miles on a tank. But then that tank holds 44 gal.
