Decided yet? I take it you're talking about the new one?

I've had that, Southern Rock Opera, and The Dirty South in constant rotation in my car.

Great musicians, great songwriters.

Some of the sharpest lyrics ANYBODY currently on the scene is writing.

Yeah, the new one. Only managed to listen to it twice. It's not tops for me yet, but not bad.

I wasn't knocked out by it at first. But it really is a grower.

I'd say give it some more listens.

Rob Zombie rocks!!!

Mixed playlist of Kid Rock, Disturbed, nickelback, Hinder, Staind, Korn, and a bunch of others right now. Put a ton of music on the ps3 to play while doing other stuff around the house. crank it up and get dinner cooked atm.

Heading to the store to get that one right now.

Been salivating for it ever since they released Goodbye Daughters Of The Revolution on their website a couple of months ago.

I gave it another spin over the weekend.

I'd say I like it more. But his whiney politics are a bit annoying.

Like many records of the last couple years, if I just ignore the words, the music is fine. But you told me his songwriting was really good so I was trying to listen to lyrics. He is definitely a good writer.

Aside from, possibly, Righteous Path I have no idea how you could get that idea. Perhaps Houston could apply, but that's a Shonna Tucker track. And she's definitely no he.

And none of Mike Cooley's tracks have any such theme in them either.

Strange...

Just picked up the newest City and Colour cd Bring Me Your Love..pretty good. Not too much of it sounds like his last CD but it's a good progression. One of the songs (can't remember the title off hand right now) is a collaboration with the lead singer from the Tragically Hip.

He also does a pretty good cover of Cowgirl In The Sand (originally done by Neil Young) although it's not on the CD.

After a couple of weeks I've started to get on with this album.... think Leonard Cohen meets Marylin Manson meets Primus.

Different but good.

Dropkick Murphys - Sing Loud, Sing Proud. In my car it's Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

What's the song of theirs that was in "The Departed?"
