Wow, this is an amazing one. I just found this in my orange/lemon tree in my backyard while pulling off rotten fruit on the phone with NDD. (Dude, your conversation is interesting and all but... )

Large file size so you can appreciate the awesome.

With the bee problem going on I don't want to mess with it, but...do I need to call the county or something?

They're not bothering us at all, yet.

    Yep

It's a newly forming hive of honeybees, 5 feet from my bedroom and kitchen windows.

Intuitively this seems like a bad thing right?

Yeah, if it's that close to the house you probably want it taken care of. See if you can find someone that actually works with these bees and can relocate the hive instead of killing it. Honeybees are a good thing.

i have done it many times. I have had to spray anything from Ground hornets to regular hornets nests to honey bees in a tree sometimes from an aerial lift. You have nowhere to run, you must be accurate and have plenty of cans available. If I think about it I will take a pic of a hornets nest we have in the office that was taken from one of the Right of Ways, it is about as big as a basketball (Medium size).

Spray paint would probably do a better job IMO.

We get the stuff at work, they will drop out of the air instantly.

Not the stuff in the pic, that was just a random pic I pulled off the net.

Is it a fog or stream?

If a stream, how far does it shoot, maybe I'll be able to blast it from inside the house through a screen...it definitely has to go, I just did some reading about it...

Damn, things have been stressful enough around here without this thing.

Stream, shoots about 20 feet straight up.

I will look for the stuff we get at work

Yeah, get me that info if you can.

I'll call this local "bee rescue" tomorrow.

No sense in killing such useful creatures unless I have to.

    Angel's Bee Rescue

Kinda interesting how they do it, basically a big huge vacuum.

    Re: Real Life Pics

All this rescue talk is coaxing this...

Yesterday , last night, this morning at 2am...
    Heard slight scratching in wall.
Cat freakking the hell out at wall.
Fiancee freakking out at kat and at wall.
This elicits a strangeguy in attic peeking down wall area, spots trapped mouse, looks big, hmm.
Cool, Home depot sells 4" hole saws.
Hole saw + peanut butter + shoebox = mouse no longer in wall, now in field.
Cool, HD is closed, but WalMart sells spackle and fibertape.

I'll get a photo of the aftermath tomorrow.

Ya my friend just picked it up... can't kill that little 22R. Not for lack of trying though...

He was hamstrung by shitty little pizza-cutter corolla tires.

    I don't think that's what he's referring to.

I know he excluded me, but I did have an aunt named Janet. Plus there's been enough time for someone else to figure it out.
