    Today was a good day.

Got to work and the boss brought me into the office. Had to sign my review and was told I got a raise, retroactive to the beginning of the year too. Really wasn't expecting it because we had this asshole at work that cost the company a ton of money by calling OSHA and getting us fined and a few hundred thousand in court fees with bullshit bs trying to get a union in that no one but a couple of the lazy idiots wanted. That plus the terrible economy some of us we thinking there's no way we'd get a raise. We were actually the only division in the country that made money last year. Then I went out as a helper on my old route, worked about 6.25 hours today and felt like I hardly did anything. Then I got home to see how much I'm getting back from taxes. I think I might buy a Brembo RCS master cylinder and some rotors and put the rest away. and it was like 50° today.

    I love days like this.

actually they don't do it on merit or seniority (which I'm pretty high up anyway, top 10 among drivers I believe). If the drivers get a raise all the drivers do, although there is a certain cut off date to when new drivers were hired. I assume guys hired the last few months of the year don't get the raid.

    you can't read or type

I never said anything about a promotion. I'm still doing the same thing I was doing before, just for more money now.

Most of the people who live around Lake Champlain claim to have seen Champ over the years. These many reports do not prove Champ is a living lake monster. They do confirm that most people are liars.

...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG
