More Central Florida Range Troubles

Seems to be a trend around my area.

Anyone else getting anything like this elsewhere?

I spoke with the owner of the other range that had the same type of incidents lately and there really is not a solution. The woman that shot her son, then herself, was on meds and her ex knew she was shooting at the range. Anyone can sign a waiver, claim they're sane and then off themself at the local range with a rented gun. How can you prevent this? You can't. Crazy people will prevail if they are determined.

You really can't. I'm only too surprised this didn't become an issue sooner.

That was a total anamoly though.

The simple, and very effective though not foolproof solution is if you are renting a gun, you cannot come in alone. All ranges out here in Cali have this policy, and if you talk to range owners/employees here it has notably reduced these types of incidents.
