I bought this lil gun about a month ago and today I got to go out and run a few rounds through it. I picked this gun up used and it have very little ammo run through it, maybe 200 or so. I wanted to run some rounds through it and see what was needed before I did the Full buff thing, but I did take the time to polish the feed ramp as it was having some issues feeding hollow point ammo, and that is the point where it was sticking. A little mothers metal polish and a dremel tool and all was better.
I have a IWB holster and it carries good and does not print. I usually carry it with a shirt un-tucked. The gun is light, even when loaded with 10+1. I bought an extended mag piece from Keltec and it does give your pinkie somewhere to sit and does help with stability of the weapon.
This is not a long range weapon so accuracy is not one of it's better points. This is one of those "Bitch get off of me guns" for close range encounters.
I did run about 50 rounds of Blazer Brass 115g FMJ through it with no malfunctions. All fed well and no FTF, FTE all went as it should in that department. We set up the target at roughly 10 yards and with a little practice I was placing all 10 rounds in the paper which was 8.5 X 11 in a fairly rapid sequence. Recoil is not as bad as what I was expecting, it does raise slightly but comes back to target rather quickly.
The trigger pull is loooooooooooong, but that is the only safety it has so I can live with that. It was something I was not used to at first, but learned to work pretty good by the time we left the range.
For the money,it is a good carry gun that will do the job. Is there nicer guns out there, yes there is. But for the price, I like it.

My friend just bought one of those a couple weeks ago and I shot it last week. Definitely a loooong trigger pull but for a carry gun not bad. I need a carry gun right now and that's one of them on the list.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

I was looking at a couple of other carry pieces, but just could not justify the price difference. I was looking at the Kahr PM9 and the Walther PPS both of which are nice additions to the cabinet. But for what I am using it for it is fine. The guy I went to the range with has the KelTec 380 version and and after shooting this one his is now for sale.

I'm more interested in this than the .380 just for the sake of not needing to have another caliber of ammo around. The fewer different calibers the better. I'd rather have another 9mm than going to something else.

The long pull is there for a reason of course. This is a backup gun, not one I would choose to take to a gun fight by itself. I have one in blue and green. I like them better than the Ruger copy.

Is the reason for the long pull for safety as Hammer said?
I'm asking because my carry gun is a Taurus PT111 and it has a long trigger pull and a safety. I wish it was more like my Glock's pull.
2002 945RR...She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.
The Glock has the trigger safety, the Kel tec has the long trigger pull as the only safety to the gun. And Fig is right, not the gun you would bring into battle, but a good back up with things go wrong.

the trigger safety on a glock will prevent an accidental discharge if there is nothing pulling the trigger. Your brain is the real safety. Your brain says, "finger, stay out of the trigger guard until I am ready to FIRE!" works on all guns too.
I know you know this, I just like typing it
