Looks like a win-win situation to me. You need some studded tires for that Hyper.

I didn't realize you guys had that much snow. Up here an hour north we don't have hardly anything. Just got a light dusting overnight. The kid seen snow falling off the roof this morning and asked if it was almost time to get out his 50. You should put some cold cutters in those Duc tires and take it to the ice. Nice spread ya got there.

Man you're braver than me. we don't have any snow on the roads around here(Don't know how that happened) but I've been itching like crazy to just get it outside and roll a bit up and down the block.
    See you at GRATTAN

Looks to be about 1/3rd of what we got, and more coming tonight. Unfortunately, I don't own a Ford tractor with mismatched front tires...or even one that has matching tires.

Squid... Snowblower vs tractor races at Grattan this year. You up for it????

    Nice pics!

Get your helmet on squid! And take your filthy cold weather back... it is 34º here and I was out sanding the RC parts It is supposed to be 50º now not this brutal stuff But the RC is rough sanded now to start the hand sanding and some glass touchup maybe :iduuno: DON'T send any of that white stuff with the cold either.

Ouch - you noticed the tires. And Yes - Of course I'm up for a tractor race. That's something I'm actually qualified for.

I truly loved it when it snowed when I lived in Idaho and had a season ski pass. It actually still excites me a lot. Snow just doesn't seem to have as much purpose here in Iowa because I don't have time to do anything with it.

Sharp cold wave shocks upper Midwest, temps to -36 - Yahoo! News

In northern Minnesota, it was 35 below zero in Roseau and 36 below in Hallock, with wind chills down to 45 below in Hibbing. Just to the north, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, also hit minus 36, according to Environment Canada.
Up to 11 inches of new snow was possible in Detroit. More than an inch of snow had fallen Tuesday morning, make streets slippery for the rush hour.

Well alrighty then! I feel pretty good now because it's only 18 below frickin ZERO here and I don't live in Roseau. And that is not the wind chill!

Eric Burden and the Animals had a song with a refrain that so applies right now.

Well we are warm then. Only 8 below here when I drove in. 23 below with the wind. No hypothermia in the ER today so that's good.

Temps are taking a dive here. Should be in single digits by nightfall.

At least we aren't having to contend with the snow - just a few flurries.

It took me about five tries to get through the snow drift that blew in front of my car this morning.

On a brighter note the cold seems to have kept people inside the ER is so slow today and yesterday. Usually it is absolutely slammed. with patients stacked in the hallway.
