    Thinking of Inking

    Well it's snowing again.

Seems to be around this time of year that I get the itch to get some more ink done. I only have a few pieces of ink, but I know eventually I will be pretty much covered in them. I have a meaning to all of my stuff but this year for some reason I am having a hard time thinking of what to get done.

I have ALWAYS wanted full sleves and will have them eventually, but I am thinking that at this point in my "career"(if you can call it that) they may not be the best idea. Mind you I have been thinking that my legs can be done in a sleeve like fashion with out anyone saying much.

I have a few ideas and like a few different styles of inking. I have had thoughts of a LOT of different things(something like evl's wing has def. been there a few times)

Track layouts, people I have met, things that take me back to the "good ole days".. friends I have made, all kinds of stuff. but nothing is really jumping out this time.

Any suggestions? "Juan is #1" maybe?

"Seamus is awesome" has subtle benefits.

I had a maintenance test pilot a while back that had full back and sleeve work that was completely covered while he had a tshirt on. Great work and can still maintain a professional look in a suit/shirt sleeves.

I don't have any, but always liked this one. In some cool sytle letters it says "overcome" on his forearm. I think it speaks many things all by itself.

nice to see I am not alone in this field...

If I was to do lettering it would likely be in the style of my last name. or something like that.

Seamus is awesome does have a nice ring to it but what about mrs seamus. she'd likely have something to say about that. hahaha

I know things can be covered but I may still have one or two more interviews before I get the job I want and in my company my reputation has preceded me a few times, I don't need any more help in that department.

I love tats. Have a few of my own and have avoided the sleeve for the same reasons. This winter I'll be getting a pic of my pit done.... at least thats the plan for now. Aside from that I have a tribal piece across my back that is 100% mine. Drawn by an ex that uses two big "N" since my name is Nick and all. I of course have my sinfuldragon tat and along the side of it is my wifes name in traditional Chinese (figured that way if anything happen we could always lie to people about what the tats really say). I want to get all my kids somehow mixed into the tats, just not sure how I wanna do that yet. I also need to figure out how to put some kind of bike riding tat on me.

Funny you say that, my second tat was an armbad its now a full shoulder to my elbow piece that started as a michelin pilot sport.

Stock tires on the first brand new vehicle that I ever owned. I still miss that bike.

lol at the chineese part. lying never hurt anyone

I'll be getting the same tattoos as my dogs eventually, just not right now. Nothing fancy, just their #s.

Sonic (my Malinois) just got his ink on Friday. I cant even see it yet since the green paste is still on it, though I dont think that 06BM5 would be good as a first tat on me.... I have thought about a Dog Paw on my shoulder blade though... I need to wait until I take a couple of weeks off again though as wearing a vest over a fresh tat might not be the most agreeing thing to do

You could always do the teardrops...

Skull with a dagger through it and a snake coming out of the eye. And maybe a warrior woman with huge tits in a brass bikini riding a flying tiger.

I thought about doing a tire tread pattern around one of my arm so I brought a old slick with me to the tatoo shop but backed out at the last minute..... Plus that plane black stripe looked pretty dumb

A new slick makes a better pattern!

    Or how about this?...

Pick up an ink pad and have V roll the tire in it and over you. Eventually will wash off so you are good if you change tire brands.

I think you just described half the album covers from 80's hair metal bands.

Or you could what one of the local squids here has done and get a sprocket tatooed around your elbow. Nothing says class with "k" like a stunta-sized sprocket inked around one's elbow.
