    Recommend me a laptop battery supplier...

    Need a replacement battery for a Compaq laptop. A search finds all sorts of questionable looking sources...

    Anyone have a supplier they can recommend?

    Have you tries "Batteries Plus". I know they have a store in Bloomington, not sure about your neck of the woods.

    We went through this with her laptop, damn battery died just before the bar (last thing she needed her stupid laptop for before work gives her a new one).

    She bought Dell brand from:

    Good, prompt service. She bought two to have a spare, didn't use the second and returned it without hassles.

    The first one has been working as expected, and seems to be the genuine article.
