Thread: Base jumper's parachute fails

Typical media..."Fails" sure sounds a lot more scary than "malifunctioned." In fact, it doesnt even look to me like it malifunctioned, more he was too close to the hillside when it opened, perhapes opened off center and flew him into the mountain at which point it colaposed and he was along for the ride. With only a broken leg, he wasn't falling much when he hit and tumbled.
