iRobot Scooba

I have sealed hardwood floors and I like it alot, I just had to share since while I was out milking the cows I let it run - and came back to a shiny sparkly floor that I didn't have to do shit to clean, yee haw.

It doesen't do so well on carpet, and battery life is severely hampered if your cat keeps attempting to ride it.

Re: iRobot Scooba

Not that it is a scooba, but our Roomba is awesome.... It takes a little stress out of the everyday run down in our house. We have lots of wood in our house and it gets dusty.....and white carpet and a black dog. We have almost 4000 square feet and it will do the first floor on one charge and the second on another.

It has improved the wife interaction due to more time.

Yeah I alternate, 75% hardwood floors here and I let the 3 of them share the duties but the scooba leaves them shiniest. I should note I only run vinegar and water through it, not the actual scooba solution...fwiw.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that instantly thought the same when I read his post.

Does the scooba have a bag?

What do you mean? This thread went from some robotic floor douche to nipples.
That, my friend, is uphill.

I don't think my girlfriend cares about our time, mine - maybe, ours - not so much.

Correction, as of today the summers eve formula is no more...I ran into an issue where it would startup and sit there spewing water, then give me the (Blue) check tank light. Hadn't seen the blue one before so I checked it out:

You may be using too thin a mixture of the Clorox Scooba cleaning solution or trying to run all tap water through the Scooba. For the life of the electronics in the Scooba and proper traction, we recommend running only the recommended Clorox Scooba cleaning solution.

Call me weird, but it does do a better job then just me using vinegar in it..smells better too . But I really like vinegar on the hardwoods...oh well.
