OK, long road trips I usually prefer to do my driving at night. I work a third shift schedule, so that's my "normal" time to be up anyway, and there's less traffic. I'm just curious to what other people listen to when hitting the interstate during the wee hours of the morning. A few of my regulars are Crystal Method (pretty much any album, but "Community Service" and "Legion of Boom" are the faves) and also anything by Death in Vegas ("Dead Elvis" is the best one IMHO).
Been doing a lot of Team Sleep or Deftones' White Pony album while on the road at night. If I'm in a folkier mood, it's all Califone or Beck's Sea Change. Mogwai or Pelican if I want lengthy instrumental rock tracks.
I'm typically up at night also for work. Usually I look forward to when 11pm rolls around during the week cause thats when the metal/hardcore gets played for an hour. sunday nights on a NH station I think its on at midnight. saturdays I'm pretty much forced to listen to hair metal all night, not bad but not really the best stuff to get pumped to. I find whenever I hear some really good songs that I like, when I get to my next stop I work faster.

For me it's going to be high energy stuff like I use in most of my videos - Dark New Day, Disturbed, Sevendust, Rage, or if in a bluesier mood, some Stevie Ray, Jimi, or Lucky Peterson will get the job done nicely.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.
