Re: Secret Places of Google Earth

That's pretty neat. I've never noticed spots that are higher resolution like those are.

I checked out one of the sites above. At their link where they show the floating car, they have an image of it. It looks a lot better than the same image I'm seeing in GE.

Take a look here, Google Earth Cool Places - Related results for Flying car

Then look at this attachment. How do I set GE to show better images like the one at that site? Adjusting the zoom level isn't changing the image quality, except to worse as you zoom past the image resolution.

Re: Secret Places of Google Earth

Pretty cool.
But on your list, the indian head and woman's head are the same.
I didn't see anything at the giant bug location.
The bomber is cool, but what's going on at the airstrip to the NW? I thought it may be an airshow, but there are no people. Only hundreds of similar looking automobiles. Crazy.
The hovering car location, the resolution is too low to make anything out.
All those animal locations are pretty interesting. Completely fuzzy all around, yet little snapshots of the herds.

Anyone check out the MotoGP Tracks. It's either Mugello or Assen where there are riders on the track during a MotoGP weekend. Full colors on display.
