I discovered the reason music sucks

I just watched the Lynyrd Skynyrd (not the old band) and Meat Loaf concerts on HD. Well the performers are not purty (well the lady singing is one song was so hot she had to keep away from gas stations). Yep all the so called bands now need to be purty. The record company losers are finding purty people and packaging them rather than get TALENTED people

Think of someone like Mama Cass Eliot and do you think she would even get a shot? Iggy Pop had a face that could peel paint but had a HUGE impact on music.

You're watching bands 30 years past their prime, and expecting them to be purty?

However, you are correct that the music industry is really screwed up right now.

Meat Loaf was never purty. And I think Iggy was dead at birth but carried on somehow

Oh and Meat's co-singer is not past here prime

Sheep, as a member of the music industry, I concur. Looks first, music 2nd. This has been going on for quite sometime now. Ever heard that track "Video killed the radio star" ??

Isn't the machine you refer to sheep, the same machine that created "The Monkees"? Its an old machine.

There are independants out there. You need to do your research to tap into the stream. I listen to Indie myself.

Research

instead I just find other things to be entertained by thus my point. If it is a chore to find music that does not suck I can turn it off (same with the idiot box) Thus their decline. I have a stereo I can put in the garage but I have a hard time caring since it would only get radio and I am not sure I prefer that over silence.
