I think that was a bad day for the wheelie rider!

One, you get first prize for proper identification of the avatar pic!
Everyone else just figured it was me, I reckon!

Re: IED scare in Boston

After listening to the 911 calls describing one of the harmless little "signs" that wasn't working "it's ummm about 2 feet square with batteries connected to wires running into the back and it's making a humming sound . . .", I think the bomb squad call was prudent.

If I'm not mistaken, you need a permit to place advertising media on public (state/city owned) property. If these assclowns had filed for and received permits (doubtful), none of this would have happened.

But they got their 15 minutes

Re: IED scare in Boston

In my book a tasteless show just went down the tubes and those two morons would be sitting in jail. Because it was a publicity stunt TBS would be getting a fine as well.

IDIOTS!!!!!!!

Any add agency that is using public property for their add should be prosecuted on vandalism charges.

The call may have been prudent for #1 but come one when everyone showed up nobody recognized a mooninite then when they detonated #1 and found no explosives they did not start to figure the others were harmless

The police definetely went over the top on dumb after the first one and are looking for a scapegoat (the one dude does look a bit goatish)

Re: IED scare in Boston

Do I sense bitter old man rage? Aqua Teen Hunger Force is canned comic brilliance, and I have a hard time believing a Lite Brite with a glowing cartoon character on it warrants the mobilization of Boston's entire peacekeeping force.

Last I checked, al-Qaeda operatives aren't known for putting up bombs in the vein of extremely bright and eye-catching light setups in obvious places, and leaving them up there for two weeks before detonating them. I could be wrong.

The state of our world is pretty absurd when someone puts up some street art and people are calling for the firing squad.
