Re: Lot of NES games

That's awesome!! Not awesome enough to pay that kind of money for it, but very cool none the less.

There was a similar auction on eBay several months ago with every Nintendo system (minus the Wii which wasn't released yet) and tons of games for each system. I almost bid on that but it got too pricey for me for just nostalgia purposes.

Re: Lot of NES games

Isn't he missing a game?
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for NES - Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! NES - Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! NES Game
So when he states that it is every game made, he is lying.

I think Punch-Out! is the same game, just without Tyson. But then again, beating Tyson was part of the fun of it.

Correct. He needs to get that one to claim it is every game. It is still a nice collection, though. I had about 2 dozen games when I sold mine after buying the Super Nintendo and I thought that was a lot.

Mr. Dream doesn't compare. he was just a white Tyson.

I didn't beat Tyson until sophomore year of college. I was very proud of myself at that moment. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was actually during spring break. I had read some tips online about how to read his body language and went and tried it out. took a lot of tries but finally beat him. second round TKO.

Hamburglar I have about 3 dozen games now. Got a lot of them in college when playstation bored us. In addition to a working NES I also have an NES2. 8am one morning on the bus to class this kid says to me and my roommate after overhearing us talking about NES "I have sonic on pause in my room right now"

I had the power glove. That thing was useless.

The light gun rules though.

Very nice. I never beat The Legend of Zelda until college.

That was my reference to The Wizard (1989)

did you beat it the second time through? the levels change locations (like what level before is now level 6 or something like that). you can also just skip the first time through by making your name Zelda.

No, at that point it got boring and my dorm was filled with that needed to be fragged in Counterstrike and Quake2.

Edit: Just so you don't think I am writing badly about Zelda, at that point Ocarina of Time had already come out so the original was less impressive.
