    I've got another issue.

My browser completely locks up (all tabs) intermittently and for long durations (5-10 seconds) when loading each new page. I believe the lock ups occur when the google ads are being loaded. E.g., googleads.g.doubleclick.net, pagead2.googlesyndication.com.

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.20 on OSX 10.3.9.

Is there a way to get the function of old back? When I hit reply to thread it shoots me to the quick reply box. I then have to click the "go advanced" to get the old posting box.

I'm getting real nit-picky here. Is there anyway to have the thread titles in normal/bold font to reflect read/unread new posts on the Today's Posts page as it does on the home page?

I use the Today's Posts feature a lot and I'm not used to looking for the "go to first new post" carrot to find threads that have new posts versus those that don't.

    +1

I'm only using the todays post feature and right now I'm missing the old version. My way to quickly find out where I was was to just look at the today's post page and look until I saw where the font changes to normal. Now the font is all the same and on top of that the time the last post was made is not display. That too was useful.

Also the avatar advance is not there.

just look at the colors of the envelopes beside the thread title, gray means you've read it, blue means there's new posts.

Yeah, I'm missing that a lot. I feel without it I'm just wandering around the site.

I've done some checking on this and for now it's a "feature". There is some noise about this being raised with vB, it may be fixed in an upcoming release.

I wish I could. Upgrading FF requires that I upgrade my O$. I was hoping there was a real issue behind it, rather than it being a browser thing. Thanks for looking into it.

I'm having trouble with the attachment box again. It was working previously but this time things were overlayed. Also once I finally decoded the jumble and actually got the file uploaded the "manage attachments" dropdown box wasn't working right. Previously you could use that drop down to put your cursor where you wanted then click the attachment to put it in the reply at that location. Now it doesn't matter where I put the cursor if I use that dropdown box it automatically inserts the attachment at the beginning of the reply rather than where you want it to go. For example if you want to do a post that is --> Text, then attachment, more text, next attachment, etc. You would have to put in your attachments first then type your text in the right places rather than being able to do it the other way around like previously.

I wish I could get to having an attachment to add ... I got to the point of selecting the file from my computer and hit the upload button, then the little check box disappears and everything stops. In the end no picture is added to my list and I have to close it down. On at least 1 occasion I received a warning that Shockwave Flash has stopped working. I'm using Google Chrome 4.1.249.

    Thanks.

As far as I know, Chrome is still Beta so I would expect more problems with it than other browsers.
