We had 40 seats last year. Minimum cutoff for groups is 20...we are almost there...

If we don't make the 20 seat minimum, then we lose the seats. If that happens, participants that have paid will get a full refund...

Looks like a good news/bad news post...

Good that we're almost at the minimum cutoff. Bad that, if we don't make it, I gotta go buy tickets for myself. Meaning, I'll probably end up next to the "lost BMW guy"

I don't think we'll be able to retain all 40 seats...but I'm *reasonably* sure (and hopeful) we'll make the minimum and keep our spot...

We still haven't met the minimum mark of 20 to keep our group status....

If we can't make the number, all is not completely lost...we could retain the currently paid seats as a personal block without the "group" perks such as bike parking/tracklap etc...

If this does happen, I will send out an email to all paid participants with the option to keep your seats, or receive a full refund...

    Stay tuned...

When do they need to know by for the group thing? Reason I ask is because I'd like to go, but I have so many other things planned already for next year. It really depends on how the economy situation works out. Chances are I'll make it, but it might be a last minute, or month/two thing.

I did.. I guess I'm confused. I was assuming when I first read the post a while ago he meant deposit by Sept 29th of 08'? That obviously can't be, because that is over and its not too late? I can't remember what month the event was.

What's the verdict? Did we get enough? If anyone is thinking about this trip, go for it! Even in the rain it was awesome.

Currently we have enough to keep our "group" status...

Hopefully we can build on that and retain even more of the seats...

    BUMP...

A reminder to those of you laying out your Summer schedules...tickets are still available...

I've noticed more than a few new faces on the forum, so if you are already planning on attending the Indy GP weekend, give some thought to hanging out with some of the MCADX peeps. The seats are excellent, and the company is good...

Some pics and prose from the 2008 event...

    Checking interest here...

Hammer has a BBQ on Friday night (I don't want to infringe on that) but since interest in the Indy Mile is tepid, at best, I'm thinking of hosting BBQ pt. 2 on Saturday night. The casa is about 12 miles west of IMS (AKA the World Capital of Racing ) and it would be a pretty easy launch from there to Motorcycles on Meridian after some grub.

    What say ye?

You will not infringe on me brother. All good here.

Either way is cool with me. 1 BBQ 2 BBQ does not matter to me.
