79x55mm cylinders, just a BIT oversquare
![]() edit: Looks like the Brutale 982 is even further out there: The liquid-cooled, DOHC, radial-valved, Inline Four engine of the 989R gets the 79mm pistons from the F4 RR 312 and F4 CC, which together with the original stroke of 50.1 mm result in a displacement of 982cc. |

.MV's just continue to peg my bike-lust-O-meter. If I could have any production bike in the world, cost no object, it would be a 312. |

Re: MV recombines the parts bin again to prove that your..garage..isn't big enough.
I was disappointed at the 312 RR being "oversized". The beauty of 312R was (and is) the fact that it challenged (and won, for example in Masterbike 2007) the big japanese in their own game eg. which is the baddest under 1000 CC sportbike. So in my eyes making a 1078 cc sport is cheating
Oh well, good thing here is that I'm safe from upgrade decease this year, although that cheap and beautiful KTM RC8 is talking to me.
