RAH-VFR

I never thought I would be making this post, but the decision has been made by the family to remove Rich from life support. CBRVFR doesn't know when this will happen but I'm certain we will hear.

I am totally stunned and pray for Rich's family.

Every time I walk outside I tear up seeing his bike on the trailer, outside of the house.

Re: RAH-VFR

This is hard to comprehend, and yet, in a sense maybe we should envy him; he's gone out doing what he loved, surrounded by friends. Godspeed, comrade; if there's reincarnation, here's hoping you come back to us still ripping up the track.

Re: RAH-VFR

I am absolutely stunned and saddened to hear this. I don't know Rich, and he doesn't know me from Adam. But around here, this 'family' makes it feel as if I did. Sincere heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to Rich's family and his friends, both here and home.

Godspeed, Rich. May you sit in peace at the table of our Lord.

Re: RAH-VFR

I have been watching this thread since Abtech has put it on the board.

As anyone who knows me, I am a fun loving, easy spirited person, but I have found nothing to smile about. I am very saddened about the current situation and do not have the proper words to put in place. Lost at this moment.... I care about each and everyone of you and to hear what is going on, hurts me greatly.

None of us did at first. It just kept getting worse in a very short period of time.

God's timing is not our timing, he takes us when he wishes. Like someone else said, he went out doing something he loved & always set a good example while doing it. Not sure what else to say other than I am stunned & will miss him.
