Only seven weeks to go! I noticed that no one is on the Keigwins waiting list anymore, so there may still be spots available. Sign up soon if you haven't already. The full track at Miller? Doesn't get much better than that!

I have a wedding that weekend in Breckenridge. F-ing Gay F!!!
Not the track day - the wedding. Chalk up another rad thing going on that weekend that I will not be to attend.

This is not as tightly knit as the Grattan days but when I went last year it was still a FANTASTIC time. The track is awesome, fascilities great, road in could only be slightly improved .

We all pitted together on some days and shared a common garage section on the full track day. So while it was not 100% addicts it was close. Still had get togethers and outside fun. Further the host on Monday was great and not only allowed our group metality but welcomed us by name Bwhip was SUPER helpful and a fantastic host. All of his advice was 100% on and made my time last year even better. I will be missing this year but last was epic and I intend a repeat. Anyone on the fence for this I recommend that you go, there will be no regrets.

I would love to go ... not only to get on Miller (outside of a parade), to meet all you ADX'ers, and to pay to those select few that I owe a beer to!

But nope, my friend decided that he'd "do us a favor" and have his wedding on Labor day weekend to "save us" from having to take an extra day off of work to travel to his wedding. I'm not impressed with his choice of dates, clearly.

The last two years, the Miller Trip has caused me to "miss" a family wedding each year. Both of them were for cousins that have never called me or visited me. So needless to say I did not feel bad. But a close friend would be different.

I wish that were the case. I'm already missing his bachelor party in lieu of some track time as is. What's more is that he lost his mother right before I lost my dad. Just one of those things, I guess ...

But don't worry, I'm not the only who is less than happy with his choice of dates!

I'm counting down the days... first 3 days of FS, then 3 more days with some MCADX folks in the same week!

For various reasons, it looks like my daughter and I cannot make it this time.

I should be able to get my deposit refunded by Keigwins, but ApexTrackdays has a no refund policy. They can give me a 12 month credit, or they can transfer the spot to another rider.

So, are there two people out there that would be interested in buying the spots from me? $200 each.

I'm kinda kicking around the idea of flying out, renting a car to get to/fro MMP, and renting a bike to ride on Monday. I have over four weeks of vacation time that I need to burn.

Ideally, I'd fly out on Saturday and watch the races on Sunday, but I have a wedding (to photograph) on Saturday, so the soonest I could travel would be Sunday.

Where can I get some info on (track)bike rental for MMP? I wouldn't be bringing stands, tools, etc...are they track-prepped and worry-free? It'd be fantastic to just show up with my gear and ride...

JimmyNeutral, if this comes together, I could help you out of a Monday spot...

Bike rental info from last year: You can RENT a bike from Utah Sportbike Rental for the Miller event. If you hurry.

I just sent Chris an e-mail at his personal address. I'll let you know what I find out. I just used one of his bikes for a two-up ride at the Apex trackday after the AMA/WSBK event, so as far as I know they're still very much in biz. At that time they had a Triumph 675, a Ducati 749, a couple of R6's, and a CBR600RR. I'll keep you posted.

Sweet! I'll call him tomorrow.
Thanks a million for the help!

Jimmy, it looks like I'll have a bike lined up; as soon as I confirm that and the flight, I'll PM you about the APEX spot on Monday from you.

Man,
I am going to Utah on the 28th and staying until the 8th of August. I am going to visit my wife's family. I am planning on going over to MMP as it is pretty close to her dad's house. I had vacation planned for the end of May and first of June to try to make it to the SBK races but it didn't work out.

I really shouldn't jack this thread any further. I hope you all have loads of fun there. We'll be there with all you in spirit.

Looking forward to MCADX days at Miller, 2009.

Who needs garage space and for how many bikes? They run $75.00 per day, and can fit up to four bikes. I can reserve some if I know how many are needed.

I'm interested in sharing a garage on Monday. I won't have an EZ-up or anything, so getting out of the sun when possible would probably be a smart thing.

Count me with one bike in, Whip. (My buddy JayH can't make it... he broke two fingers at Sturgis and his hand is in a cast).

Man, I can't WAIT to get up there and ride. I've haven't ridden my trackbike since I went down in April! And she's freshly repainted too... vroom, VROOM!!!

PS Do the garages have power? If so, I won't have to bring my generator with... which is a plus.
