Just got back from the Timbers dinner. Good food (and drinks!), lots of laughs, and great awards were handed out. You people who've never attended this event don't know what you're missing. There was even some strange guy (and gal) that finally made it this year!
The day at the track was fun, albeit a bit damp and cold, but it still didn't stop everyone from having another excellent time. Only one very minor slip 'n slide in T1. Lots of bike swapping, great riding, and new and old friendships. Can't believe tomorrow is the last day...
It was wet this morning and the sky showed no promising signs of clearing up so I decided to have my set of full rain tires mounted that i have had for approx 4 years. Got them all mounted up and safetywired up and went out to a damp track. I was looking for puddles to run through. So back in after a few laps and changed back to the 211's for the remainder of the day. Thanks to Bwhip, the suspension is working well now. Not perfect but it is not a friggin pogo stick either like it was. Thanks Whipper!!!!!! There was plenty of bike swapping today, rode Evltwins motard. That thing is evil, but in a nice way. Also rode NorthernRR's pimped out 1000, it has been a few years since i rode a liter bike and wow, that thing has some get up and go to it. Alot of progress has been made by all the riders, especially in the street group. My body feels like a bowl of jello from riding soo much the past 2 days, but well worth it. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Casual grazing going on as I have only matched last year. My excuse is the weather has been so-so and once again I have not hit the 'groove' this year. Still a great time though and who knows on of the herd that attends may pull a 1:35 out somewhere today (though I doubt it). I did get the cam working great. Still need to figure out how to power the front noise free though. Right now I am charging batteries in the morning and zip tying them in place for the day, local power would fit the lazy profile Fantastic to see familiar faces and to the new folks this year as they have all been a pleasure to hang out with.
Oh wait I blame the HG's for my lack of time as they migrated toward sheep corner to avoid the attack birds..... not a single whale this year though..... last year they were everywhere..... Sam must of got a repeating spear gun

Yesterday was great, even with the rain. (didn't ride in the wet, but lots of talking ) Brett let me borrow his video camera to mount on my bike. Very cool, as I taped the whole 20 min session. Today I hope to break into the 20's weather permitting. Right on that edge. After watching the video there are a few places I can safely make up some time. I also rode Eyauch’s 600. Very comfortable feeling. Nice corner speed on those 600’s. It's looking like this morning we might get some rain again, but clearing after. (hopefully) Juan and I are going to swap bikes so I can finally try out the Aprillia motard. Some other swapping as well, so looking forward to another great day! It's nice to finally put a picture to the screen names. Now breakfast and off to the track.

We had several good sessions this morning, running two groups - about 11:30, the rains came and persisted through the end of lunch, so people took a leisurely approach to packing up and saying goodbye.
A superb track event, thanks to all who made it happen and participated in any way.
Many laps run, lots of tires and gas consumed, not to mention good food and after hours alcohol. Thousands of heroic photos snapped.
Two get offs resulting in a sprained knee and minimal damage to the bikes - and somehow nhfirefighter13 twisted his knee as well, proving that photography isn't for the faint of heart.
Another awesome event! Like a family reunion as Dave said. Since the weather didn't cooperate, we got on the road tonight and are near Cleveland.

Ok, we've stopped for the night near Youngstown. Stopped at a non-smoking hotel. As the young woman at the front desk was explaining that the entire place is non-smoking, Doug quipped "What am I gonna do with that 5 lbs of marijuana now?!" The woman said "I wish you hadn't told me that". So I fully expect a swat team up here sometime tonight to search us. That won't go well, as I have the coffee in the room with us and they'll probably think we're hiding something else in the coffee. I'll check in tomorrow to let you know if we're in the pokie or not.

Sheeze Judy, what are you going to do about that Marlboro jones? (J/K)
Hope the Youngstown constabulary has a sense of humor . . .
Now in stereo Visionaries say "Yes, we can."
Engineers say "Not so fast."
and Seamus is awesome

Me, too, as the woman at the front desk sure didn't!

How great were those past few days, eh? Thanks to everyone for another great year, and for making that trip just as great as it's ever been!
Driving out to this event does seem like a drag when you're in the car for those long hours, but after seeing old friends (and riding two-up!), you soon realize why you were so anxious for this event all year!

Miss you all already! Stay safe riding home.
Really glad you made it again this year!

Next year we hope to see you riding! Thanks for all your help -
Baketech and SSG upped the ante big time. You cali boys have no excuse next year!
It's a bit further from Cali than Indiana or MA. With all due respect to my buddies...
Abtech(and the many others that help out) I know its been said a million times but this is an awesome event....
Drive out from Cali and blow your bike up on day 1, you'll find out just how awesome the people at this event are. Or, drive out from Cali and fuck up your tie downs on your MV Agusta and break the seat bracketry requiring welding on the way up and you'll find out how great the peeps on this site are.
Hell, the only time I wasn't doing serious repairs on day 1 was when I drove out with an empty trailer and bought a bike in MI!

Well we are packing up and getting ready to head on home. Looks like we get to ride right into the rain again...geesh! It was great meeting all of you...we had a great time! I hope everyone got/gets home safely. Already looking forward to next year!
We've been back on the road for over an hour now. No SWAT teams at the hotel this morning! We'll be stopping at HG's sister's in PA to pick up the dog, then continue to NJ.
Again, great seeing everyone. I already am looking forward to next year!

I am baa-ck. Not a single gratutious sheep picture to post and I am TIRED so off to count sheep for a bit before looking at video, picture CD and unloading.
