Assuming we don't get harassed at the border we should be at the hotel around 3am. I decided to leave earlier than usual to make it easier to drive straight thru. Just stopped for lunch and gas. Got another 640 miles to go.

We just got a call from our house sitter...apparently the upstairs apartment bathroom flooded and our kitchen ceiling collapsed. Waiting for word on how bad things are but the main water valve is off right now. We may have to turn back depending on how bad things are.

Wyoming is pretty boring but I prefer it to Nebraska, I don't know why. I've gone through Wyoming and Nebraska in their entirety about 9 times since moving to Iowa.

In Nebraska you could stop and ride Hastings or Mid-America if you get bored

I hope it is not too bad bro. Well if you have to turn back, that does not mean FF has to go back.

Ok. We're back on the road to Grattan. Water is back on at the house and the leak has been found and isolated. Damage can wait to be fixed/cleaned up until we get home.

better that you had zero issues to go home to but about the best news possible considering you had the call.

We're in OH, just got onto I75. Can't believe we just paid over $9 for one toll.

Glad you're coming NHF!!!! It just wouldn't be the same without you.

If anyone is on, I75 we're in a tan F150 with our tan traile and just outside of Toledo at the moment.

NH, sorry to hear about the house issues. I feel your pain...I had our basement flood with sewage the day before Grattan '06.

I won't tease you all with my departure and travel time tomorrow.

ok, we're settled for the night in Dundee. Just did some shopping at Cabelas, then made a quick run to Walgreens for some poison ivy stuff, as I appear to have it on my face. How annoying!

20.5 hours from Boise should put you really close to Des Moines? I can tell you where the key is if you want.
