Brett... I still have all of the "mounting" hardware from last year so if you want your own vids taken by a fellow snail, I'm your man.

As with last year, I will be providing the video playback in the paddock

haha yes "mounting hardware" aka industrial strength velcro. Before I repainted my fairings I pulled the couple pieces off. oh my god, I had to get a corner started then use a pair of robogrips to rip them off. kinda surprised no paint came off with them.

yes we do have to do some more leader/follow videos, they were fun. This time lets actually leave the pits together so we don't have to go looking for each other on the track.

nice I was gonna ask if you were gonna bring the laptop. I'll bring that hard drive agan. you bringing the sticker machine also?

I'll have my camera again this year and will collect some vids.

I didn't get last year's videos out, but have several on camera (JH, CBF929, Hammer, and several others) and will try to download to electronic again. My computer had an issue and I think I lost all of the digital, so will need to download from the DV tapes again. Not sure how with the new computer yet.

I will say the vids looked so much better when BWhip owned it.

I was gonna play it by ear on the sticker machine. Like, if I dont like the way the bike looks before we leave I will bring the machine to add some go fast decals.

If HG2 is too fast I can add some flames to keep up with her.

Not sure what paint scheme you had in mind for the 929 but we can always slap on the super fast national colors (red/yellow/red) which could get us close to 1:17 by the end of day 2.

I'm thinking we can sell some NOS stickers to sheep and SilverCBR to raise money for gas on the way back. We're about to hit $3/gallon again

all I really need is some white "HONDA" stickers for the bottom. roughly 13x3 would work nicely.

So how many minutes of video will a SD 2 gig card hold? And if you did 2 sessions with the same card, will the second session record over the first session? How do you go about overlaping music with the bike sound for the video?

if I recall correctly at the highest resolution on my camera it was 30 minutes/gig. and no the second session won't overwrite the first, it will create a new file. and the music overlapping you have to do on your computer, on a mac you can use imovie, and windows has a similar program that I forget the name of. Movie Maker might be the name of it.

I have a brand new SDHC card. I'd really like a volunteer to chase me around for a session or two so I can get some vid on the bike for keepsake reasons. I'm also looking for a "tow vehicle" to tow me around so I can work on some lines and get smooth. Volunteers? I'm very generous with forever gratitude!

IF I can get the cam sorted enough I will have front and rear cam (uses fast CF cards but I can likely convert it)
Most of the people who live around Lake Champlain claim to have seen Champ over the years. These many reports do not prove Champ is a living lake monster. They do confirm that most people are liars.

I know, but the hits would have been at least double, if not triple if I had not been caught at a bad angle. As a photog phenom you should know that lighting, angle, experience and opportunity make a money pic.

You gotta admit the lighting in Grattan's biffy is not the best! In fact, some of the YouTube feedback has me mistaken for seamus and I have to write back that I am not that tall...

Looking forward to seeing you at Grattan again very soon!
