Yeah five days in a row was crazy..... I sat out a few sessions, but was on the track everyday. Bagger rode every sessions as he said.... I rode a lot on the backwards day..... Couple double up sessions..... since they kind of were a little more loose on who could ride which sessions on the backwards....

I was reading through that thread in the archives. I thought it was flippin hilarious. I figured January is almost over so it might be time to start some . Plus I'm in a startin' mood.

I'm just curious to know if there are any plans of having a system set up for rewards to those attending at Grattan for the 3-day event?

    Rookie of the year....
    Biggest Bragger.....
    Best lap time...
    etc...
Each of us has something different to contribute, and no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, it can be for the benefit of all.

The price is getting back home in as many pieces as you left and in the same condition, and a whole bunch of great stories and memories.

we always do awards at the Tuesday night dinner. Usually its a bunch of meaningless awards not given for actual achievement. In the past we've had ones such as Biggest sandbagger, Most Blingy Bike and other funny stuff like that. never best lap time because we don't keep track of that.

For real good stories you take home more bike parts than you start with.

Well, for really really good stories you actually pull a wheelie and get to Hancock some nice racks.

Mmmm. well, I won't win bling bike, that would have been the heavily modded 929 that I now use for street only, LOL. Although, the gix 600 should have the new armor bodies fitted and painted by then. I'm thinking gloss black with some old school ghost flames. Mostly folks just paint them bright colors, accenting the lines. I think I'll be different....
Now, if the temps would just warm up enough for me to go out and drill the race glass...
