Thank you sir! I'm going to see how it looks for me to get those dates off, then see if I can talk a couple others to come along in the motorhome & share expenses.

Indeed you have seen that RC51 before. It's been said that some super duper racer dude built it..........

Working on it. Got three others interested & put in a vacation request. I'm hoping it'll all work out. Might even hit up another track on the way home.

Yeah, but the front end has a mind all it's own & likes to point towards the sky often.

I know that feeling for sure.

Abtech likely had it "programmed" that way.

1:50 ya OK like I'm gonna believe that one. DoubleDan's 1:35 and 1:60 are more believable.

It's definately got some grunt. With the rev limiter mod it climbs up pretty high in the RPM range for a V-twin.

Well, add in old age & 30lbs over weight, then you can see how I come up with those numbers.

So, is there a list of attendees yet?

Maybe someone (who has clout in this area) should invite them to stop out at Grattan Monday night to "get used to the elevation" prior to the show

Not too bad once the sun got up for the day and started to warm things up. I think it was just over 50 by mid afternoon. The track walk at 8am was interesting though. It had rained a bunch Friday morning so the ground around the track was quite wet. There is a place on the exit of turn one where water will run across the track as the ground dries out. Well when it's in the 20's overnight that spot isn't water anymore. Even though I knew that by noon it would be warm enough to melt that spot it still played with my head the first trip through there.

No $hit! A wet spot in a braking or hard on the gas area is never fun, so I guess ice is not either

There was a 30 mph headwind that day as well - I didn't even get out on the bicycle.

    Hope you had fun!
