We were talking about laptimes, not who's closer to the track.

My bad...misread a "there" won't get the best lap times but might win the closeness to the track

Of cbrxx fame per chance? funny, the IB guys and the ADV guys are polar opposites, but you've got the ADV bike
But thats like an oil discussion...

I'm not sure if June/July is too soon to ask for extra-managerial coolness*

Thank you very much abtech. I'm blocking off the time as soon as I get to work tomorrow.

HG2, the minigrill is in my trailer, and mrsmaxib and I will help with anything you need to make this the best BBQ @ Grattan ever!!!! (It will be hard to top last year, but I think you can do it)

We will also bring root beer again. I KNOW northernrr liked it! (among other folks)

MrX, I'll be hitting pop ups in the lower paddock during the two up sessions, so everyone bring your glove! Just beware of turtles.

good luck getting MrX to come. He's too worried about actually learning to ride his bike

Dude, Cali to MI is an adventure, especially when you're travelling the week of July 4, no matter the vehicle.

I'm in but I don't know who will be joining me on the trip. I have to talk with Emily tonight and I'll contact Madmax soon. I'll get the vacation days written in stone as soon as I get to work tomorrow. It looks like the turnout will be pretty good this year (a very preliminary observation).

ps. I really need to try out a 2008 or above 1000rr while we're at Grattan...

The "bling bike" will be there. I still have the empty bottle of Goldslager (sp?) to display!

Thanks! Now that it's in writing I'll hold you to it!

Seriously, don't feel obligated or anything, besides, you'll probably have a long line of hopeful riders. Sell tickets!

Oh I don't care. But you do know once you ride one...well you might as well buy one now. I told my g/f I was just going to go to the dealer to "look" or maybe "sit" on one. That lasted long... I hear the motor on the new zx-10's are pretty sweet too.

FYI For anyone who is debating the financial side of being able to go to the event. I have it roughly figured out that starting this Friday if you put 20 bucks a week aside in an envelope every week, by the time the money is due you will have all three days paid for...and won't feel it.

For me, and I'm sure many others, the gas is an equal or greater expense .

But you have a point, start saving early because the event is worth it!

maybe since HGT said HG can't make you two can share a ride. a traveling companion really makes the time go by much faster.

Maybe, I may have my wife, Madmax or another friend who's interested in coming. Whatever happens, I've got the vacation days reserved so I'm in!

Absolutely impossible!

Who knows, maybe I can find another track addict friend to drag along. Have plenty of time to figure it out.

This is all depending with who you're traveling with. As I discovered this year, it can be the complete opposite....

You're not the one who had to listen to french canadian rap. you must have some way to completely tune it out.

Let alone, you try to sing/translate it for me
