Grattan 2008 Whale watching picture thread

Its my first time here in the great state of Michigan and I must say, whale watching and trackdays are a perfect combination.

Did anyone else get good whale sighting photo ops?

Actually Hammer had nothing to do with any of it.

I wont name names, but the rest of the photos are awesome, I cant wait to see the photoshopped versions also

These guys are just plain mean. I tried to get em to stop but they just wouldn't listen at all.

I dont know why they were being so REDundant.

With all the Whale-Mania going around, there are a few other folks whose absenteeism went unpunished.

Then, we where REALLY surprised when one surfaced for a quick breath in a corn field! We had the camera ready, once in a lifetime shoot right there!

We made it to Grattan and BANG! Another one was jumping over the race track sign! No need to say we had the camera in our hand the whole trip since the corn field!

Northernrr was quick enough to catch the thing and go for a 2 up session he will never forget!

I have to say the two up ride was a once in a lifetime event, yet another grattan only event.

I'm just so glad that we managed to capture the whole thing on film.
