I think they were able to keep the entries down because the winner had to run the track backwards.

We even saw a whale.

Spectacular day! Best Grattan weather I've seen in three trips. We're having a ball, watching for whales and harrassing Sheep.

Wish you were here!

Incredibly fun day. Bench racing going on now, getting ready for the HondaGals BBQ. You really should be here.

There were a couple of low-grade getoffs, OneVCS doing his best Lorenzo imoitation, and JetB lowsiding, probably just so he could put his video footage on Youtube.

No injuries except for self-esteem..

I got to ride the TZ today, the ergonomic changes I made were effective.

What a terrific day. The weather was spectacular. Perfect.

So great to see so many good friends, as always! Not a ton of people this year, which means lots of fun track time. After lunch we went to a two-session format. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

JBD and I collected quite a bit of video through the day, until he decided he wanted more spectacular footage than just my slow butt, so he thought a close-up shot of sideways grass in the bus stop would be good. What a showoff.

The new surfacing they've done to the track is very good, although it's still very bumpy in quite a few spots. I'm spoiled by Miller, so bumps are kind of an unusual thing to me.

NorthernRR, evl_twn and I had a great supermoto session late in the day. Their post-Freddie-Spencer-School riding looks awesome!

The HondaGals BBQ was a definite highlight! Lots of great food and friendship, with some great DEPO stories that had us laughing our butts off.

Every year as I'm driving out I wonder if it's worth it. Already today it was proved to me yet again that it is.

Thanks for posting that. I'll be reviewing that vid and others tonight and tomorrow morning. I should be able to shave off a few tenths of a second. Maybe I'll even get to pass someone?

No sheep cam, stills or even passenger sheep during parade lap.... but today ! Dropped lots of time in fabulous weather (cold in the morning though). Really pushed the slicks some and FANTASTIC BBQ and lots of reinders why this is a great group a folks and a no miss event (listen up and plan for next year Frenchie ) Then I may have to give up camping as the Radisson has a hot tub AND a sauna See y'all in the AM for a repeat (well zero crashes and cams working is needed on top of everything else)

I didn't take many pictures today, was trying to cram a day's worth of riding in before our noon departure.

DoubleDan and the FMX - Outta gas.
