Great pic! Congrats on being in the right place at the right time.

Thank god for frame/bar sliders and rearsets. They saved me some $$! Check out the three points of contact in this pic!

Yeah, if you are going to go down on the track it is nice to have a pic. I will be testing my PhotoChop skills on this one.

I really enjoy turn 1, turn 3 and the buss stop.
The straight, whether the entrance or the exit, are my cross to bear, but I do like that track.
Just remember I was born in Catalunya. Crashing is in my blood, I guess.

I'm sure MrsSeamus got the shot. Although at the rate she downloads pics off her camera, you're best to just show up at Grattan next year.

She spent an hour looking for a CF card reader to clear her 4gb card only to find out she had pics from Grattan 07 still on it.

Some of my favorite pics. Well all of them are good, but the top ones.

Any time you can get a shot of yourself in front of Bwhip and JBD it has to be a good shot.Click image for larger version

I was experimenting a bit with my video editing software, and came up with what I think is a pretty cool video of a lap around Grattan featuring me (well, parts of me anyway) and evl_twn. I don't think I'll put it on YouTube, as I really like the video clarity and don't want to turn it to crap.

Very funny! I'd like to invite everyone to revisit The Paddock and Beyond because I spent all night fixing it so that Ray Charles and Hammer can see again.

Those where great camera angles. Really was showing when you where on the gas (not that you couldn't hear it) and on the brakes. The split video was a great touch.

The Dunlop guy (Tom) is on the Tube! The vid is really "bumpy" but I think it's my editing software, and not the actual vid..... I need to work on things but I know he was expecting the vid so....

Very cool...he was at RA directly after Grattan. I asked him if he got any track time, we chatted a bit, and then I bought a set of D211 from him for Day 2 of the races. They rocked.

Technically, it's a dirty sensor, rather than the lens. (A little Photoshop will clear that right up!)

To explain further: Dust on the sensor becomes easily visible in photos taken with small apertures. During panning shots, the shutter speeds are much slower (to allow motion to "happen" while the shutter is open); to compensate for the longer exposure time, the lens aperture has to become smaller. With smaller apertures, the resulting image has greater depth-of-field, and this is why the sensor dust becomes visible.

To counter this effect when doing panning shots, the photographer should use the camera's lowest (least light-sensitive) available ISO setting to ensure that the largest possible aperture is used. (Or keep dust off the sensor!)

Hey NH - clean that sensor!

I haven't downloaded that tape yet, but I should have some video from behind. You stood up just as I reached my turn in point, and think you filled the screen at that point.

Definitely a great time chasing some of you guys around.
