Tossed out back, No go

All,

Well, I have a garage available and 3 days deposit down if anyone wants or needs them. I tossed out my back this last weekend and am on a diet of Vicoden and Flexoril. I tried to saddle up and basically about passed out. I don't think it's be good going into the bus stop and freezing up.

I'd prefer to just "give" the deposits on the days to somebody who really wants to go, but just can't handle the $$ factor. If everyone wants to use my garage space as misc storage, cafe, etc that would be fine with me.

I am crushed to say the least. I have been geeked like no ones business about next week, and I literally started to choke up and cry when I realized there was NO way I was going to pull this off.

Gawd, I hate getting old.

Get a hold of me and let me know if anyone is interested,

TW

So sorry to hear that Tim. Go see a chiropractor if you can. Some of their methods might be questionable but I know that it helped me tremendously when I hurt my back a few years ago.

Ah, sorry to hear. Try massage therapy, too.

Dayumm. Was this from riding?

There are still a few days before you would need to load up. Hold onto your spot and take ND4SPD's advice and see what you can do.

Switch to ice. Heating pads are generally bad for that sort of stuff. They make even more blood go the affected area increasing the swelling/pressure on the nerves. Lots of ice and stretching if it doesn't hurt.

You guys have swayed me to not give up yet. I'll switch to ice and keep stretching. Now if I could just find a small asian gal to walk on my back for a couple of hours.....

yep, try the ice. You can also try epsom salt in the bath water as well to take some of the sorness out. Bayer back and body does wonders for back pain. I eat them like tic tacs anymore.

Just because he can't ride doesn't mean he can't drive

That's a fairly pejorative way to refer to Randy. He can't help where he was born.

Trailer is already loaded, basically just need to put the bike and tires in.

As far as no sex, that definately isn't a problem!
