Saw that too. It was disturbing.

It just hit me that a certain someone should do a letter to the editor as to WHY they are wrong. Maybe it will get printed and help someone

I also think the author needs to be shown a Baxley Sport Chock. if you aren't running tire warmers there's no need to fumble for a rear stand, just ride in and get off.

That nice product gets a good review in the same issue ... now the author just needs to read

I didn't even get that far into it yet.

I got my sport chock just after christmas. about a month ago a friend bought a bike and asked if I pick it up for him cause I have a truck. I think I was almost as excited to use my chock and new ramp as he was to get a new bike.

I hope you know I'm just messing with Abtech... j

I'm a firm believer in doing everything you can to stay safe. I couldn't believe that was in the article.

what kind of friend would I be if I let you let this opportunity for some of the most fun you'll ever have slip away

moneywise I bet you're gonna spend more money on your trip to VIR next week then you will for 3 days out in MI. and I'm talking total cost of the trip, everything included (track time, food, hotel, etc)

As I just explained to abtech....

In one of those not-really-paying-attention moments, I was reminded today by the "other half" that I had said, "that's fine" to a proposed departure date for a vacation with her parents and we leave July 1st, and the flights are already booked. Problem is with her parents in Europe, she needs to book these things well in advance and well, I didn't put 2 and 2 together at the time... especially as I've been busy getting things sorted for a season-opening trackday at VIR in a week.

I am *INCREDIBLY* bummed out about this, as I was working the #'s and it all seemed to be coming together.

Man am I bummed. I was looking forward to meetin you guys and maybe even helping out a bit with setup / riding tips...

That sucks that you cant come Scottie. Aside from the obvious gas savings to all... track road trips like that have always been more fun with more people in the car.

RE, are you sending the garage money or do you want me to send it?

+1, Detroit (DTW) is only about 3 hours from the track. Or, if you need to get back to use your original tickets, you might be able to take something small out of Grand Rapids ... and then let CBR929 take your stuff home for you

If ya'll want to swing through Iowa I'll help out with the gas costs. It's only a little out of the way.
