In case you have not got it figured from reading this thread the trip was 3 days of road riding in exotic locales with 3 days of excellant track time at Miller with old friends and some new ones. Worth every bit of time and money.

When I got back I had a suprise. When I was in SLC I tried to make a room reservation. I looked at Idaho Falls and the Red Lion as it had a suana. Well the reservation site locked up as I hit reserve.... Hmmm did it make it.... well I got the 800 number and figured I would double check things at the track. Well Monday I wander out back the garage for some quiet and call. Sure enough it had not made it. Well I reserve a room for one night with the understanding I could not cancel (fine as I was leaving to go there is 5 hours). After a great day at the track (thanks again for the effort BWhip) I head to Idaho Falls.
Well on arrival I find there is no reservation Oh but wait "we have plenty of rooms Mr Sheep so we can fix you up". So I get two nights in the place I choose with the sauna (not available) that was dirty with no facilities in the way of suana, hot tub, pool.
At that point I was figuring so what I came to ride and was fine with it.
Well when I get home SUPRISE Red Lion (from here on referred to and thieving cat hotel) charged my card twice So I dispute it figuring this is a no brainer and will be resolved right away. Well still no action so I call GM Card (<----evil two in the story from here on referred to as GM SCUM) Well service rep one who barely speaks english says no record of the dispute and I should call thieving cat hotel to resolve it.
Now two things I left out. When I disputed it I subtracted it from the total and paid the rest in full. I did that as I found out after the bill was due so getting a credit was to late. So I get the next bill and GM SCUM has charged me interest on the whole trip
Back to customer no service. Thankfully my phone cuts off before I can get steamed at her stupidity. So I call back and thankfully get a lady that speaks english and has a brain . However no help there. Seems this is the dispute department which only has eastern time zone business hours . However she did tell me that the interest "should" be removed (my trust is -0 on that) when the dispute goes in my favor. Also I should call thieving cat hotel and get them to issue a credit (yep I do all the leg work and GM SCUM is good for )
Well I call thieving cat hotel and they cannot help I have to call the individual hotel. Well the guy at the desk of thieving cat hotel Idaho Falls division cannot help either it is accounting and yep you guessed it they are not there . So I rip into him a bit and he says well I can forward you to his voice mail. So I leave him a message with details but no phone (I can't have my phone during work) and we will see.
At this point it is not even about money as I have a few hours into this and my time is worth more than the charge. However I hate to be ripped off.
So the lesson here is don't assume the obvious can be easily rectified (how could I stay twice in the same room on the same night). GM SCUM is a f#$%^ed credit card that I will soon cancel. For added anxiety in life be sure to stay at thieving cat hotels.
I hope both companies customer service gets them the share of MotorcycleAddicts members it deserves

Upside to that is the adrenaline might allow you to just pry the tires off, thus eliminating the need for a bead breaker and tire irons, then reducing the chances of scratching your rims?

...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

I got a NoMar so no tire irons needed
Now the track day was cancelled so no need to get tires done this weekend

You may not want to cancel the card, It will put a dink on your credit score.
Not worried I can get more money than I need real easy . I have not checked in a bit but my score is fairly high and I am moving toward all paid for and cash anyway. I do plan on opening another though as I like having two for use when I travel.

Got response #1 from GM SCUM telling me I am SOL as they did not have enough info to fix it. I am not suprised as their form blew chunks and though I filled it out 100% it was not real useful looking. Amazing that they took all of one day to get back to me. Strangley this was after idiot #1 claimed no record of the dispute, then helpful lady #2 said not a problem I see it (5 minutes later) then poof it gets taken care of
