I have shelves up front, that are about 2 feet wide, that hold all the chairs, canopies, tools, tie downs, air pig, etc. Then there are the two sportbikes side by side. Behind them is the Zuma scooter (pit bike) put in horizontally (perpendicular to the bikes), strapped down by pushing the front tire against the wall. (It's light so it stays put). Plenty of room for all that. If the front wheel scooter was parked between the other 2 bikes, there'd be even more room on the sides for stuff. We have hooks on the wall to hang the leathers. There's a diamond plate box mounted outside on the tongue for the gas cans, so they don't stink up the inside.
The last time we came to Grattan we brought a friend, so we had 3 bikes, spare rims, grill, 3 people's gear. Some was in the truckbed. Plenty roomy.
Sounds like as much stuff as what I would like to bring with me. You are right with the folding bunks, only they will hopefully be high enough to be "over" the bikes. and maybe a table in the middle somewhere... it all looks so simple on the drawings that we have made...

are you gonna leave room for the bikes, they are kind of the most important part.

I doubt that you end up getting the bunks over the bikes. Back to the drawing board.

We are looking at getting an extra 6 inches in height I don't have the measurements with me but it should leave us 22-26 inches to the roof with enough room for the bikes under it....
We'll have to see exactly what happens with it though.

Agreed, the trailers aren't that tall. Unless it's a really narrow bed! Another option if you want to sleep in the trailer would be to just bring a blow up mattress and leave the bikes out at night.

That will be the option we choose if the "bunks" dont work out.
I have to buy it before I get too carried away anyways...

You can always hang the plywood for the bunk in a way that it folds up against the side of the trailer when not in use.

try looking for some sites on bus to rv conversions. I'm thinking you might get some ideas from those people. preferably find ones that did little buses.

Good point.
Just got done paying for a couple of days at Road America, a couple of days at Barber, 10 days at Deals Gap, and have 2 of my own Trackdays to run this year, possibly 3 at Blackhawk Farms. I will register if I can for this too though, but a little tapped financially at the moment.

By March 15th, 2007 we need 25 entries to secure the dates. Entries are closed when we reach 45 per day.
The FAQ in the first post of this thread has the updated information (PLEASE READ, as there have been some changes/additions).

265$ shipping included is a GREAT deal. If you do put a group together I'm gonna be in, but think about what you getting in to!
I've done the calculus . Between me and the others nearby, it's not as difficult. Plus, with my open trailer, welder, and some creative sparking, I should be able to carry 12 no problem. If I can't make it, I'll tie them to the outside of my squidlychoppah and air drop 'em.
