NESBA will be at Grattan both Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure we can enter the track and set up after they leave Sunday afternoon...probably around 6:00 pm. Of course, this is merely speculation on my part.

That would be awesome, and I would make sure to get there in plenty of time to get everything unloaded if it's possible.

The question will be whether the track's insurance lets people or stuff be inside the track between events. The stuff usually happens, but people not unless someone gives permission ahead of time.
Not much help, but maybe clarifications from those who haven't been there before and might want to camp. If you can't camp inside, there is a nice field out front that is available.

Re: FAQ for Grattan 2007
I have purposely held back from answering this question because I wasn't able to hear back from the track. Currently they are trying to find a person that would be an "agent" of the track to stay all night Sunday night so that we can get in and stay (if that's what you are planning). The gentleman that we had last year isn't available right now, so they are looking for someone else to handle this.
Unfortunately, due to a weird situation a couple of years ago, we can no longer handle this aspect ourselves, so I am waiting to find out if they can find a person to handle this duty. It costs me an extra 100.00 to pay this persons wages for Sunday night, but is well worth it, so I told them to do whatever it takes to handle this.
At any rate, we will be able to get into the track after 6:00 PM and drop trailers etc. If they can't locate someone to run the gate, we would need to be out of the facility by 9:00 PM so they can lock up.
My best guess is that they will in fact find someone and people who are camping can do so inside the track on Sunday night.
There is air available in every garage as well as an outside hose at the entrance to the upper paddock. As Hammer noted, the power that is available in the garages is only about 15 amps, so 20 extension cords out of every garage won't fly. A couple of sets of warmers, a fan and a radio will about do it per garage. A coffee pot or microwave is the kiss of death and will probably smack the breaker if you try to run either along with anything else.

Now in stereo
Visionaries say "Yes, we can."
Engineers say "Not so fast."

So you are saying that if CBRVFR runs tire warmers, he won't be able to plug in his refrigerator?

Anyone knows if the construction on 96 is done? It was a B*tch last time I was on my way to Grattan... took me an extra hour.

Re: FAQ for Grattan 2007
There's a small section where they detour the highway around a bridge at the Eagle/Grange exit. Should be no big deal.

Re: FAQ for Grattan 2007
I was at Grattan last Monday, and the bridge detour mentioned here isn't bad at all.
I don't see any mention in the FAQ of post-registration (registration at the track) - are there any spots left and is this allowed?

Re: FAQ for Grattan 2007
DJChyk and I will be camping Sunday night. That's right, I've conned her into coming this year. So be on your best behavior, SOB.
Which brings me to a question.....what is the charge for "Associate Grattan Attendees" considering lunch and Timbers expenses?

Ok, I have a couple of bike prep questions, that I could not find the answers to:
Regarding the FJR, do I need to remove the cup holders?
How about the highway pegs? XM radio reciever?
Some good news I did get the cruise control fixed, that straight is pretty long...

No, but if you leave them on you have to use them.
