Re: Counting the days to our Labor Day Extravaganza...
With every lap there over the past couple of days, I found myself thinking about what a great track (and facility) Miller is, and how much all of you will enjoy it. It's going to be a great Labor Day weekend, folks.

Response: "Two days! Utah!" Ummmmm.... I didn't know this."
Reply: "You also didn't know what a circumcised pepe was until you were 22! I've been talking about it for months now, and it's the reason I've been doing track days like mad the last few months."
Response: "What am I supposed to do with the twins and our oldest while you're out?"
Reply: "Could care less, as long as it is legal and doesn't lead to therapy later in life.... I'm outta here in a few days!!!!"
Moral of the story.... I can't friggin wait!
well I haven't been on my bike or a track for a month (that's so not me ) so I can't wait to go and have fun.

I thought that there was BBQ after Saturday, Phobe. Not sure when I will roll in FrenchieR6. It could be anytime between 1-5PM depending on when I get up and what distractions I find on the way (might still be going by either Dinosaur museum or prison museum)

Re: Counting the days to our Labor Day Extravaganza...
I'll arrive Friday early evening at the hotel. I'll be at the track Saturday, riding the west with Sheep and anyone else who signed up for the MMP open trackday.
The barbecues with Apex are set up for Sunday and Monday nights at the track, so we can do whatever we want on Saturday night. I'd definitely be in on any plan to hang out and go out to dinner. We can head downtown, or they have a nice restaurant at the Hilton as well, in case anyone traveling Saturday doesn't feel like making an additional trip into SLC (although it's only 10 minutes to downtown).
Once we know how many want to get together for dinner on Saturday, we can firm up a plan. Sound good?

Give me a call when you get in, we can find something to do Saturday.

There is midget tossing at one of the local clubs on Friday nights.
Who is riding on Saturday? Who wants to go out?
There is a local brew pub fairly close to the airport (and mall complex we were at last year for those that were there) that we could hit for those wanting to have a bite to eat/drink and socialize.
There's also a sports bar right there, as well as other places to go.

Re: Counting the days to our Labor Day Extravaganza...
Well there has been a change of plans for me. A buddy of mine is in much need of some time away from his life, so I've asked him to tag along. He won't be riding, but he could use some of the good influences of our members. Oh wait a minute.....
This has lead to a change in plans for sleeping arrangements. We are trudging up in a Class A motorhome and we will be camping at the track. I hope that come party time after the track time, we'll head over to the hotel and take a cab back or something.
We'll move the RV to the open paddock (next to the garages) during the day for any members wishing to get out of the heat and enjoy some AC between sessions.
Frenchie, check your pm's.
Just in case I miss catching up with any of you prior, I'll be in the plain white wrapper RC51 with 97 on the right upper fairing. We are leaving early Sat morning and should arrive at the track late on Sat evening, so I anticipate meeting you all at the track in the morning on Sunday. By then we should have moved the RV to the garage area.

Me too. It's one of the prizes we'll be giving away. I've been collecting some goodies for prizes and giveaways. We have a few kind sponsors that have been helping us make this a great event for all.
