but his 1:17 was at the gravel trap at the end of the straight last year. this year he thought he'd try something different and maybe do better. it didn't work out.

I think a few guys were in the 25-27's. JetB, Whipper, Northern and Evl... TornadoBait did a 26-27 last year, too.

OK, since it's been out there for long enough and I know I had fooled most of you guys, let it be known that my 1:17 was a lap around the parking lot and not on the track. There it is. I thought I'd put it out there...

And since I'm having a sincerity moment; yes, Seamus lapped me three times in one session last year.

My bike was red with a dual exhaust cause I like Ducatis but I can't afford them.

I crashed my bike this year just so that NorthernRR had no other choice but to let me ride his motard.

I'm really not from Spain, I'm from Puerto Rico, and my accent is fake.

I like the way you think, some red paint and a custom exhaust would be cheaper than what I had in mind.

Oh, and we all knew about the accent, but since it's out in the open now you don't have to fake anymore.

I'm going to have to keep my accent now that I think about it. My wife's "really, really" likes it.

I just got back from Grattan. Robert Jensen did a 1:17.399 on his gsxr-1000! Tray Batey was also running in the 17s. There were some great races! Its amazing watching those two go at it! They both had wins against each other today.

I have gotten into the 31s on my CB-1 (400)...

    How about the supermoto studs:
Dustin Meador on the Interstate Cycle/AB-1 Motorsports Aprilia 550 ....1.25 flat, winner of LWTSS and LWTSB and a BIG thanks to Travis Wymen on the 1.26 lap time on his way to to winning the LWTSS novice class on our other Interstate Cycle/AB-1 Motorsports Aprilia 550

...reportedly with both wheels off the ground over the hump!

You just have to take 10 seconds off of your best lap time. 1 second per corner, that all.

    No problem for the whipper.

What's the motorcycle lap record for Grattan? I thought I heard Frank telling someone about it. It was apparently set on a 600...?

Did I not hear you say you had just done a 1:26 last year right before you almost highsided yourself to the moon trying to keep up with TornadoB8?

OK, correction time. I was in front of the B8 at the time and I did a 1:28.2 witch I think is my best time ever around Grattan. I ran some 1:29s on the first day this year, my lap time quit working after my low side, so I don't know about Tuesday and Wednesday. I like to think I was in the 25

As far as the other guys I'll let them make the correction they want, but remember Boo? He was running 1:24 the year he was with us
    Happy wife, happy life.

One of the Tuesday sessions, JBD, NorthernRR and myself went out, with JBD filming. He pulled off, and NorthenRR and myself wicked it up a bit chasing each other for a few laps. I saw a best of 1:28.86, and my previous best time there (on my 04 CBR1000) was a 1:31.5. I think during "THE" session, we were in the 1:30's, maybe 1:29's.

A whole slew of low 1:29's, both in THE session, and with JBD. I wish I'd have gotten my suspension sorted properly on day one instead of late morning on day three, I think I'd have done much better. Next year.

Somehow I knew throwing the "when you were trying to chase TB8" out there I'd get an answer.
