    Whale watching picture thread

    Its my first time here in the great state of Michigan and I must say, whale watching and trackdays are a perfect combination.


    Did anyone else get good whale sighting photo ops?

    Actually Hammer had nothing to do with any of it.

    I saw one too!! If you look close you can see 'hotel slick' in the background

    Who needs to go on a cruise! Those things are everywhere!

    First one popped while we where balancing wheels DSC_2678-1200.jpg

    Then, we where REALLY surprised when one surfaced for a quick breath in a corn field! We had the camera ready, once in a lifetime shoot right there!DSC_2685-1200.jpg

    We made it to Grattan and BANG! Another one was jumping over the race track sign! No need to say we had the camera in our hand the whole trip since the corn field! DSC_2701-1200.jpg

    Northernrr was quick enough to catch the thing and go for a 2 up session he will never forget! DSC_2714-1200.jpg

    One of them was really curious and was interested in the CRF450DSC_2716-1200.jpg

    While another one was watching the Porsche in turn one DSC_2690-1200.jpg

    One found her way to the Timber!DSC_2718-1200.jpg

    I have to say the two up ride was a once in a lifetime event, yet another grattan only event.

    I'm just so glad that we managed to capture the whole thing on film.

    I don't recall what HIS excuse was, but at least he sent a gift, which went to bwhip for "blingiest tow vehicle" or something like that...

    Sorry for all the fun at your expense, Red! It sure made for some great entertainment, though! I can't find the shots of the thing in full leathers, kicked back in a chair with a beer....will have to keep looking...
